Astrology & The Bible Age of Aquarius

Posted on 8 September 2008

Introduction

This is an excerpt from the book, The Many Waters by Lauretta Lueck. It is important to bring to your attention the main premise of the excerpt.
The prophesies that were written thousands of years ago are about to become a reality. The Age of Pisces; “two days” being a thousand years; the third day dawning - the Age of Aquarius; the End of Time - The Tribulation and the Second Coming of Christ; are explained by Lueck in this exciting excerpt. She reassures us that we are not seeing the end of the world, but rather the beginning of a new age. With calm and eloquence she explains the meaning of each “age”, as it is written in the Bible, and reveals what the real meaning of the Second Coming is.

The prophecies of the Bible were written thousands of years ago by prophets who walked with God, and now their words are about to become reality. We have experienced wars and rumors of wars, famines and natural catastrophes, but finally, after two thousand years of sorrows, peace and good will are close at hand.

“Take heed that no man deceive you…these are the beginnings of sorrows, but the end is not yet…and the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come….” Matthew 24:4-14

THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS

From the earliest of times, and maybe even as early as Adam, the mental giants and men of renown noticed that in the night sky there was a pattern to the stars and order in the heavens.
Their mathematical minds went to work and somewhere and sometime in that distant past, the Zodiac was established in cultures around the world.

Astrology was the original astronomy, and blended in with it was prophecy and clairvoyance. Most astrologers of the time were also seers, as was Abraham, who was well known for his ability in counseling kings, and Moses, the greatest of them all, who learned his craft in an Egyptian palace.

It was during these ages that our Bible evolved, and throughout the scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments the signs of the times are prominent.

In astrology, a Great Year is the time it takes the planet to pass through the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac. This is 25,868 years, but there is no clear line between each sign, which is called a Great Month and lasts approximately 2000 years and a little beyond that. For simplicity, the months are calculated at the beginning and end of each millennium.

The night that Jesus was born, apparently the Age of Aries the ram ended and the Age of Pisces the fishes began. Aries was the age of battle. It was a war-saturated age and the Jewish tribes of the time were no exception. They were as bloodthirsty as they were religious and the chosen people of Israel, from whose lineage Jesus would come, were inclined to forget their LORD on occasion and worship the ram.

In the Age of Pisces, Christianity was born and the awareness of humility and charity. The early Christians used the symbol of the fishes scratched on the walls of their secret hiding places for other Christians during the Roman persecution, and Jesus referred to his disciples as “fishers of men.” In the Age of Pisces, the struggle has been for freedom from war and persecutionand a struggle it has beenespecially between good and evil.

When Jesus spoke of the Jewish temple, of his body, and how both would be destroyed, it was also meant as a sign of the times. That dark and terrible night there was an earthquake and the temple was rent down the middle. His physical body was dead, and the Age of Pisces became the Beginning of Sorrows.

For two days Jesus was in the grave. He brought in the Age of Pisces of Peace on earth and good will to all, but for “two days” and two thousand years (the Age of Pisces) there would be no peace or good will while his spirit was gone from our presence.

In God’s time, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Son of man [Jesus] was put through a physical death by the forces of evil, but the seed of the serpent only managed to “bruise his heel.” The world can never destroy evil, as it is a dimension of God, but we can “bruise its head” and keep it under control. For two thousand years (two days), our world has been torn down the middle, like the temple, between good and evil and we have been spiritually dead like the body of Christ, but the third day is dawning! It is the spiritual resurrection of the Son of God, and there will be peace on earth and good will to all.

The time has come and it is NOW! It is NOT the end of the world as many people fear and the messengers of doom have prophesied. On the contrary, it is the beginning of a New World Order. Jesus will be King of kings and Lord of Lords, not in body, but in the Spirit of God. In astrology, it is known as the Age of Aquarius.

THE END OF TIME: The Tribulation

The scriptures in both the Old and the New Testaments tend to run the Age of Sorrows and The Tribulation together, and that has caused confusion and misinterpretation within the Christian denominations. It has resulted in false prophesies concerning the end of the world and the Second Coming of Christ; and No, the world is not going to end just yet, and Jesus is not coming back in a physical body againever. Nor is the Second Coming going to take place next week, next month, or ten years from now.
Because religion and science have never been the best of friends, the Bible’s account of the beginning and ending of the heavens and the earth has never been associated with science’s theory of the expansion and contraction of the universe.

(In the Bible, Day and Night have many interpretations. Day: light; knowledge; salvation; a beginning of time. Night: darkness, ignorance or evil; death; ending of a day or time period.)

Our planet is nearing the end of the Age of Sorrows, and a New Age of peace and good will is beginning. The first spiritual ruler of this era will be born (if he hasn’t already) in the new Zion and will be a BRANCH from Jesse, the father of king David of biblical times. He will rule the world in the spirit of Christ, and evil will be chained for the duration of the Age.

If one of our days is as a thousand years of the Light, one thousand years of the Light would be, in our time in the New Age, 36,500,000 years. I don’t think we will have to concern ourselves with the tribulation or the end of the cosmos just yet.

Our planet has been given another chance to become a paradise on earth, but for that to happen we have to be “born again,” as Jesus said. As we were born in the body, so we must also be reborn in the spirit, in cosmic union of body and soul. To be fully alive we can’t have one without the other.

When and how will this New Age begin?

It has already begun. There still are wars and calamities beyond imagination, but there is also an awakening of souls long dead and a longing for spiritual wisdom. There is a growing awareness of the power of thought and how it can affect the body and soul, whether for good or evil, and we are questioning the purpose in life.

Is there a purpose?

Over the course of time, our planet will discover its role in the cosmos, but the most profound change will occur in the nation where the physical birth of Jesus took place. From this nation the ruler of the New Age will be born, and he will set the world on its path toward peace and good will to all. No, it is not Jesus, but a servant of the Lord of Lords, endowed with the spirit of the Prince of Peace.

In the Old Testament book of Zechariah, the prophet is told by an angel of the LORD that the soul of Joshua, who was once a high priest, would be sent forth to be the Lord’s servant known as the BRANCH. The Son of God brought us back to paradise on earthphysically, mentally and spiritually.

In the New Age, beginning with the Age of Aquarius, the message of the kingdom of God and heaven that is within us will be preached and taught throughout the world, and it will go on for eons of time. It will last as long as the breath of God, during the continued expansion of the cosmos, and through the contraction, near to the point of zero.

“…and then shall the end come.” (Matthew 24:14)
This is NOT the return of Jesus, but rather of the spirit of Jesus through the reincarnation of Joshua, The BRANCH.

Lauretta Lueck is the author of The Many Waters, “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

The Many Waters is a scientific interpretation of the creation story told in Genesis, and corroborated by other ancient manuscripts.

On Stephen Hawking

Posted on 6 July 2008

I was introduced to the theories and the work of Stephen Hawking about three years ago, in high school. At the time I was an eager student, and had a very interesting form of ‘attraction’ torwards the sciences like physics, mathematics, and astronomy. I kept hearing the words ‘black hole’ on television, social conversations, among friends and family, and literally everywhere I was around. People said that it was an early stage of this new branch of astronomy, and scientists were still going with small steps torwards the truth about black holes.

Stephen Hawking contributed a lot with his theories about the black holes of our Universe. Besides being a genius with a lot of courage and determination (no to mention his huge disabilities), he was a thinker, a logical hybrid of science and philosophy. There is something about Stephen Hawking that trespasses normality and randomness. Not only he proved wrong Albert Einstein, but his simple formed and yet enigmatic questions like ‘Does God play dice?’, mentioning an understatement about black holes, have such deeply indirect answers like ‘God sometimes throws dice where they can’t be seen’, which is truly indifferent at religion, as it is to science, but have a deep meaning.

What I like and respect most about him is the amazing energy and willingness to go forward on great matters; when people probably would prefer to die rather than even live, not to do scientific discoveries and study the Universe in a physical state of being where you can’t even have the energy to speak yourself. I come to think that even if he made considerable mistakes, the amazing turn up he caused to our scientific discoveries and the way he showed how fare the human mind can go alone, make him mathematically and logically a great contributor, not only to today’s science and technology, but also to our human society.

There is nothing more than respect, gratitude, and admiration for that physically impaired man with a great desire for more and determination. Lastly, the Universe should have had a beginning. If not, then I hope that it never has an ending. Who knows… If time is not real and does not come to an end, another Stephen Hawking will come along and find out.

The Truth About Astrology

Posted on 31 May 2008

I’ve been a student of astrology for about 36 years now and the most amazing thing to me is all the untruths or half-truths that are constantly circulated about it. If your level of understanding of astrology has been what the newspapers put out ( on the comic pages, usually…), this article should be mind-boggling. If you’ve read a few magazine articles, you’ll find a few things you may not have considered. But if you’re a person who’s read a number of books about astrology, this article may say nothing new to you OR it may seem like it’s not actually about astrology–depends on the books you’ve been reading.

The first truth about astrology I want to share is that no one has only one Sign. Let’s say you were born on April 15th. You’d be expected to say, “I’m an Aries.” Well, that’s true as far as it goes but it just doesn’t go far enough. In fact, if you think that what’s said about Aries in the books, magazines or newspapers is “exactly” what you are and only what you are, you really need to look a little deeper into yourself–you’re missing a lot!

The fact that you’re “an Aries” or “a Capricorn” or “Whatever” is saying that, when you were born, the Sun was in that Sign of the Zodiac. And, it is very important where your Sun was when you were born because the Sun in astrology refers to your Central Life Purpose–can’t get much more important than that!

However…

How do you actually go about “doing” that central purpose? The first place to look for an answer to that question is where the Moon was when you were born. And, since there are twelve places (the Signs) the Moon could have been, there are twelve different ways someone with any particular Sun-Sign can Do their central purpose. So, if someone says to me, “I’m a ______{fill in the Sign}.”, I want to say (but may not due to tact), “Which of the twelve kinds of ______ are you?”

So, the truth is you have a Sun-Sign, a Moon-Sign, and eight other important Signs because everyone has eight other planets in their full chart. Some of these planets may be in the same Sign (happens often) so most people end up with about four or five of the twelve Signs very prominent in their lives. It’s like a chord of notes being sounded–like the truth of psychology that everyone has many sides to their whole self.

An even deeper truth about astrology is that we all have all twelve Signs in our personalities. It’s just that certain ones are stronger depending on where the planets are. Still, if someone says to me, “I just can’t stand ______{fill in the Sign}!”, I really have to wonder why they’ve met so many screwed-up people with their Sun in _______ OR I have to wonder why they don’t like the _______part of themselves. Since everyone has all twelve Signs and they all have a place in our lives, if someone can say they don’t like one of the Signs, aren’t they also saying they don’t like a certain part of themselves? Think about it…

So, we all have all twelve of the energies represented by the Signs of astrology and most of us have four or five of them very prominent in our personalities. One thing this truth shoots down is the common practice of saying that certain Signs get along well or poorly with other Signs. Because most people think your “Sign” (and that we have only one) is all there is to astrology, they can be very surprised when a person with one of the “Signs” they’re supposed to get along with turns out to be someone they wish they’d never met! That’s why it’s so important to know more than just a Sun-Sign if you’re going to use astrology to help you with relationships.

And, that leads us to another important truth about astrology. This may be real hard for some folks to understand but here it is: Astrology does not, will not, and never has predicted events. What?! Yes. It’s the absolute truth, no matter if some astrologer has “predicted” something for you. What astrology does “predict” or reveal is Meaning. And, if an astrologer tells you something is going to happen, don’t you think that if it does there may just be a bit of self-fulfillment in that? O.K. What if an astrologer says some event happened in your past and that, in fact, it did happen? Believe it or not, what happened is that the astrologer saw a meaning in the chart and made a very good guess at the exact event. And, here’s some proof of that:

Many years ago, I had the opportunity to talk to two men, born of different mothers but at the same time at the same hospital. Since they had the same chart you’d think they would have had the same events happening in their lives, right? Well, all it takes is one contrary occurrence of something to disprove a theory and here it is:

There was a strong indicator in their charts at a certain time and I asked the first man what happened. He said his father had died. I asked the other man with the same chart what happened and he said he’d been on his first nude beach…

Obviously, the same chart had shown two very different events! Then, I asked the first man (and, by the way, I interviewed these men separately), “What did it mean when your father died?” He said that he’d felt like he’d had shackles removed (his father had been rather authoritarian). I asked the other man, “What did it mean to be on your first nude beach?” He said that he had dropped his shackles… They used exactly the same, and not so common, word to describe what two very different events meant.

So, we all have all twelve Signs and astrology doesn’t predict events. Whew!

There are other truths about astrology that most people have no knowledge about but those two should help open a few minds, eh?

It’s been 36 years since I was like a lot of people–believing whatever I’d been told about astrology. Now, I know the truth. Fact is, I’ve finally written a book about what I’ve learned. It’s called, “Astrological Repair Manual”, because I want to help repair various perceptions about astrology that can be pretty harmful if folks think they’re true.

I’ll end this article with this piece of advice:

Question most of what you’ve read or heard about astrology!

Also, I’d love to hear from you with any comments or criticisms you may have about this article. Everything can be improved, right?
